Privacy Policy

Noira Cam is built to stay on your iPhone. We do not run a backend, database, or user accounts. Photos you shoot or import into the app are stored locally on your device. We do not receive, store, or sell your images or personal data on our servers — because we do not operate servers for the app.

This Privacy Policy describes Noira Cam (the iOS app) and this marketing website at https://noiracam.com. The app and the website are described separately where their behavior differs.

The app does not require sign-in and does not send your photos, edits, depth maps, or usage activity to Luiz Mello or third-party analytics services. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell personal information.

Captures and imports are kept in the Noira Roll inside the app's private storage on your iPhone. Files are saved at high quality and can use a meaningful amount of space over time. Your Roll is not synced to iCloud by Noira Cam. Photos remain on the device until you delete them in the app, export them, or remove the app.

The app may show local storage notices as your Roll grows (for example around 500 MB, 1 GB, 2 GB, or 5 GB). You can review storage usage in Settings and delete photos or clear the Roll to free space.

If you choose Save to Photos, a copy is written to your Apple Photos library under your control. That export is optional and initiated by you.

Depth editing uses on-device machine learning (Apple Core ML) to estimate depth for photos — for example when Portrait depth is unavailable. Processing happens entirely on your iPhone. Depth data and model output are not uploaded to our servers or third parties for this feature.

The app stores small pieces of on-device data to function, such as:

• Your Roll index and non-destructive edit recipes
• Preferences (sort order, default frame, installed Looks, and similar settings)
• Imported LUT files you add from the Files app or Photos

This data stays in the app sandbox on your device. Uninstalling the app removes app data unless you have separately exported photos elsewhere.

Noira Cam may request system permissions only when needed:

• Camera — to capture photos in the app
• Photo Library — to import images and, if you choose, save exports to Photos

You can manage permissions in iOS Settings. Denying Camera access limits capture; denying Photos access limits import and export to the system library.

The marketing site at https://noiracam.com is static and does not offer accounts. In production we may use privacy-oriented analytics (such as Vercel Analytics) to understand aggregate traffic to the site. That analytics applies to the website only, not to your activity inside the iOS app.

Noira Cam is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
